In order to further enhance the understanding of volunteer services among staff volunteers, promote learning and exchange among volunteers, and improve the service level and quality of volunteers, on May 19, Haicang Shared Staff Home and Oceanwell carried out a training on the theme of "Walking on the Road of Righteousness" for staff volunteer services. Ms. Zhang, Secretary General of Haicang Volunteer Union, was invited as the instructor for this training.She delivered 5 detailed lectures on the concept of volunteer service, the origin and development of voluntary service, knowledge of volunteer hours, how to register as a volunteer, and guidelines for volunteer. The atmosphere at the training site was enthusiastic and the lecturer used light-hearted and witty language to bring the distance between her and the staff closer. The questions posed by Ms. Zhang were positively answered and enthusiastically participated by the staff members present, which showed that Oceanwell staff had strong sense of volunteerism and volunteer service experience. After the training, many staff members still asked Ms. Zhang for advice on volunteer services, and Ms. Li said that the training was quite fruitful for her. Volunteers, like the gentle sun, the fresh breeze, the spring rain, spread civilization to the community, let charity become custom, nourish the city and moisten the heart, every volunteer is remarkable!

In order to further raise the awareness of employees against telecommunication fraud, enhance the prevention ability, effectively curb the high incidence of telecommunication fraud, and effectively protect the safety of employees' personal property, on May 12, Oceanwell invited Dongfu street police to organize a "training conference on anti-telcommunication fraud knowledge" for staff representatives from various departments. Officer Zhang used real cases around him to introduce the popular scams such as dating and investment frauds, online game frauds, online loan frauds, part-time job frauds, impersonating public prosecution and law enforcement staff frauds, impersonating e-commerce customer service frauds. Combined with the cases, Officer Zhang analyzed the process of how the criminals lured the victims step by step, and gave everyone a variety of measures to prevent being cheated, in an effort to be able to recognize, prevent and refuse to cheat. The training activities on fraud prevention not only improved the recognition ability, prevention awareness and vigilance, but also enabled the staff to master some basic anti-fraud techniques, achieving a good education and publicity effect.

When it's particularly windy outside, the inside of your toilet can be affected! You may notice that the water level in your toilet seems to change! You may notice that there seems to be less water in the toilet when there is a wind. You may also notice that the water is sloshing around, even though the wind is blowing outdoors. To understand what's happening, you first need to know that the operation of your toilet depends on more than just what you see in the bathroom. Obviously, there is a pipe that drains into the sewer or septic tank, but there is another pipe that could be coming out of your roof. This is called a "vent pipe". Without the vent pipe, your toilet wouldn't flush. It's like putting your thumb on the end of a straw in a drink and the liquid stays inside. The same thing would happen to your toilet. So, when you flush, the stack allows the air pressure to push the water downwards, causing it to be pushed down the drain. Now, when it is very windy and the air blows through the stack, it creates a small low pressure area above the stack, low pressure is rising air, because of those winds, a little bit of air rises up out of the pipe and brings the water level down in the toilet. If that tiny low pressure area fluctuates a lot, the water will bob around. So the next time it's really windy outside, you might see low or rough water in your toilet bowl.
