In order to further enhance the understanding of volunteer services among staff volunteers, promote learning and exchange among volunteers, and improve the service level and quality of volunteers, on May 19, Haicang Shared Staff Home and Oceanwell carried out a training on the theme of "Walking on the Road of Righteousness" for staff volunteer services. Ms. Zhang, Secretary General of Haicang Volunteer Union, was invited as the instructor for this training.She delivered 5 detailed lectures on the concept of volunteer service, the origin and development of voluntary service, knowledge of volunteer hours, how to register as a volunteer, and guidelines for volunteer. The atmosphere at the training site was enthusiastic and the lecturer used light-hearted and witty language to bring the distance between her and the staff closer. The questions posed by Ms. Zhang were positively answered and enthusiastically participated by the staff members present, which showed that Oceanwell staff had strong sense of volunteerism and volunteer service experience. After the training, many staff members still asked Ms. Zhang for advice on volunteer services, and Ms. Li said that the training was quite fruitful for her.
