How the auto closed toilet seat works:

This product adopts infrared technology to realize the function of automatically closing. 

When open the cover (or open the seat & cover together), the infrared senses the objects and its indicator light flashes two times in 1~2s. After people leave, the toilet seats will close automatically after a certain time, which apply for different situations.

If the sensor registers the user within the 15s who leaves within the 15s, the seat (or the seat & cover) will automatically close at the 35s; 
If the sensor registers the user within the 15s who leaves after the 15s, the seat (or the seat & cover) will automatically close after approx. 20 seconds from the time the user leaves. 
If the sensor doesn’t register the user when people use, the seat (or the seat & cover) will automatically close after 3 minutes.
